RESEARCH
The Campbell Group's research efforts encompass economic research, land management practices, forest growth and yield analysis, and investment (acquisition due diligence) analysis. Dave Rumker, Managing Director of Research and Resource Planning has over 20 years of industry experience, with an emphasis on timberland evaluation and forest operations analysis. He provides overall direction and leadership for research, investment analysis, forest inventory systems, geographic information systems, and long-term planning and analysis associated with timberlands under management. Within this capacity, Mr. Rumker also provides leadership with respect to log price forecasts, forest economics, and ongoing forest operations research at The Campbell Group.
TCG's research is directed toward internal use and publication on an ongoing basis to inform timber markets and on an as-needed basis in other areas. Research encompasses timberland evaluation, price forecasting and forest management analysis. Through our acquisition due diligence and management plan processes, we gather an extensive amount of economic data and perform various market area-specific or property-specific analytic procedures with the data.
TCG employs five full time research personnel.
