Lee Carroll - Southwestern Regional Manager (Texas)
Mr. Carroll is the Southwest Regional Manager located in Diboll, Texas. His responsibilities include management of 1.5 million acres of client timberlands in Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Carroll has responsibility for all aspects of managing the timberlands including sustainable yield, environmental stewardship, logging, marketing, regulatory compliance, forest regeneration, forest health, non-timber revenue and community relations. Additionally, Mr. Carroll manages a forest tree nursery and tree improvement program that produces 35 million seedlings annually.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Carroll was the West Region Operations Manager for International Paper based in Shreveport, Louisiana. In that job he acquired and delivered 12 million tons of solid wood, chips and fiber fuel annually to mills in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. He has extensive experience in seedling production, genetic tree improvement, forest regeneration, silviculture, land sales, forest nutrition, herbicides, logging and wood procurement.
Ted Chapman - Area Manager (Louisiana)
Mr. Chapman is the Area Manager of the Louisiana Area timberlands of Crown Pine Timber, based in DeQuincy, Louisiana. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, long-term management planning for sustained yield on both fee and long term lease lands, and the log and pulpwood sales programs in Louisiana.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Chapman worked in various Silviculture and Harvest capacities with Temple-Inland and Owens-Illinois in the management of their timberlands. Experiences during his tenure with these two companies consisted of all phases of forest management activities including silviculture, harvest, and wood procurement.
Paul Chapman - Area Manager (Northern California)
Mr. Chapman is the Area Manager in Northern California. His responsibilities include the management of client timberlands and the log sales program of the Northern California region. Mr. Chapman has over 15 years of forestry experience in research, tribal, consulting, and industrial forestry.
Mr. Chapman was a founding partner in Northwest Forest Consultants, a forestry consulting business, before selling the business to obtain a Master of Science concentrating on forest ecology and tree physiology. Before joining The Campbell Group, Paul worked for Champion obtaining additional expertise in contract administration, log quality control, reforestation, and plantation management.

Jeff Graves - Area Manager (Tennessee)
Mr. Graves is the Area Manager of the Counce timberlands located in South Central Tennessee and North West Alabama. His responsibilities include all forest operations, wood marketing, stewardship and community relations on 34,255 acres of client timberlands.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Graves managed the same timberlands for Forest Systems for seven years. Before joining Forest Systems, Jeff was an Area Forester with the Virginia Department of Forestry where he worked closely with landowners in the Bowling Green area to provide guidance and recommendations on a range of forestry-related activities, including management regimes and wood merchandizing strategies. He also had responsibility for regulatory oversight of logging operations and fire control activities in a two-county area. Prior to his assignment with the state of Virginia, Jeff worked as a Forester with Stone Container’s landowner assistance program in an eight county area near Statesboro, Georgia. During that role, he helped to ensure the proper management of about 300,000 acres of privately owned forestland that was strategic to his company’s local manufacturing operations.
Scott Griffin - Southeastern Regional Manager (Mississippi)
Mr. Griffin is the Southeastern Regional Manager of the Bascom properties for The Campbell Group. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, long-term management planning for sustained yield, budget reporting, and the timber sales program in the Bascom Southern region located in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Griffin worked as Regional Manager for the Bascom properties in the South for Forest Systems, LLC which included land sales and acquisitions, budget reporting, inventory analysis, long term planning, and timber sales management. Prior to this, Mr. Griffin worked as District Forester then Regional Manager for Resource Management Service on approximately 450,000 acres located in Mississippi and Alabama.

Mark Hafernick - North Area Manager (Texas)
Mr. Hafernick is the North Area Manager for The Campbell Group’s Crown Pine Timber properties. He is located in Diboll, Texas. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, regulatory agency interaction, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the log sales program in the Northern Region.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Hafernick worked for Champion International and then International Paper in timberland management and as Fiber Supply manager. His responsibilities included purchasing and coordinating wood flow into the Camden and Corrigan, Texas plywood mills, as well as managing inventory and cost of raw material to the mills. He also managed off site wet log-yard storage, inventory rotation and coordinated supplier communications, timber harvesting, negotiated annual contracts and several wood supply agreements. Mr. Hafernick was also responsible for the sale and transportation of the mills residual chips, as well as outside sales of other pulpwood and log sales.
John King - Area Manager (Alabama)
Mr. King is the Area Manager of the Eastern Alabama and Western Georgia timberlands based out of Centre, Alabama. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, regulatory agency interaction, and long-term management planning for sustained yield and the stumpage sales program in the Crown Pine Timber Eastern forest.
Prior to joining The Campbell Group, Mr. King held various positions with Temple-Inland most recently in the Wood Supply Group as a Harvesting Forester coordinating internal flow of company controlled stumpage to internal facilities and marketing fiber and solid wood products to external customers that produced the highest value to Temple-Inland.
Stephen Levesque - Area Manager (California)
Mr. Levesque is the Area Manager of the California timberlands centered around the town of Fort Bragg. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, regulatory agency interaction, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the log sales program in the California region.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Levesque managed a consulting firm in Northern California that offered a wide-array of natural resources related services. Project examples included: watershed analysis, NEPA/CEQA support, environmental permitting assistance, culvert analysis and design, stream restoration, hazardous waste investigations, and litigation support for environmental claims. During his tenure with the US Forest Service, Mr. Levesque served as both a Fisheries Biologist and Hydrologist providing technical support to the timber harvest program on the Tongass National Forest in Alaska.
Pierce McAninch - Area Manager (Texas)
Mr. McAninch is the Area Manager of the Southern Area timberlands of Crown Pine Timber, based in Silsbee, Texas. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the log and pulpwood sales program in the Southern Area.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. McAninch managed harvest activities in the Southern Area and Louisiana, managing log and pulpwood sales and coordinating fiber flow into the Buna and DeQuincy sawmills and the Orange papermill. Mr. McAninch additionally managed fiber delivery volumes and cost under a long term Fiber Supply Agreement with MeadWestvaco, resulting from the sale of the Evadale papermill by Temple-Inland to MeadWestvaco. Mr. McAninch also has experience in silviculture as a District Forester, and in wood procurement as an Area Procurement Manager.
Mark Oergel - Area Manager (Washington & Northern Oregon)
Mr. Oergel is the Area Manager for The Campbell Group. His responsibilities include the management of the Washington and Northern Oregon log sale program and related activities.
Mr. Oergel has been involved in all aspects of the timber industry for over 25 years. Prior to serving as Area Manager for Skamokawa, Mr. Oergel managed ten Northwestern Oregon tree farms for The Campbell Group that totaled 104,000 acres.
Brian Prater - Operations Manager
Mr. Prater is the Operations Manager for The Campbell Group. He has worked in the past as a field forester and Area Manager for TCG, private industry and a competing TIMO in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. He has field experience in all aspects of forestry including - harvesting, road building, inventory, silviculture, log quality control, planning, budgeting and Threatened and Endangered species. Brian has assisted in acquisition and appraisal work in British Columbia, Oregon, Washington, California, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia. He has been involved heavily in tree farm startups since late 2005.
Wayne Russell - Central Area Manager (Texas)
Mr. Russell is the Area Manager of the Central Area timberlands of Crown Pine Timber, based in Jasper Texas. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the log and pulpwood sales program in the Central Area.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Russell worked in various silviculture and wood supply capacities with Temple-Inland in the management of their timberlands and the coordinating fiber flow into the Diboll and Pineland saw mills and the Orange paper mill. Mr. Russell also has experience in forest protection and landowner assistance with the Texas Forest Service, and is a retired U. S. Air Force Captain.

Scott Starkey - Area Manager (Oregon)
Mr. Starkey is the Area Manager in North Bend, Oregon for the Campbell/Menasha properties. His responsibilities include the management of log sales, land use planning, and oversight of field operations.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Starkey served as a First Lieutenant in the Army Corp. Engineers. Upon discharge from the service he entered a 27-year career with Weyerhaeuser working in Grays Harbor, Washington; Borneo, Indonesia; Klamath Falls and Coos Bay, Oregon. There he held a variety of positions to include forest engineer, logging superintendent, camp manager and marketing manager. He has extensive experience in both domestic and export log sales and has made many visits to overseas customers operations. Following Weyerhaeuser and prior to employment with Campbell, he was Vice President and Operations Manager for Menasha Forest Products in charge of all marketing, planning, logging, forestry and the subsidiary FMS (forest management services) business.
Matthew Thuman - Area Manager (North Carolina)
Mr. Thuman is the Area Manager of the North Carolina and South Carolina timberlands based in Wilmington, NC. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, regulatory agency interaction, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the log sales program in the Carolinas.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Thuman coordinated wood flow into Riegelwood Paper Mill managing inventory and cost to provide mill with high quality raw material. Managed off-site wet woodyard coordinating inventory rotation and trucking. Coordinate Supplier Communications involving negotiating yearly contracts, communication of mill needs, and coordinate fee allocation to suppliers. With Union Camp Managed company land, cruise and negotiate standing timber supervising various logging crews.

Don Whitehead - Area Manager (Mississippi)
Mr. Whitehead is the Area Manager of the Campbell Group Bascom property located in Mississippi. His responsibilities include management of client timberlands, long-term management planning for sustained yield, and the timber sales program in Mississippi.
Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Whitehead worked four years as Area Manager of the Natchez tree farm for Forest Systems, LLC. His responsibilities included the planning and management of 52,103 -acres of intensively managed investment timberland in Mississippi. Prior to this, Mr. Whitehead worked eleven years as District Forester with Resource Management Service, Inc. His responsibilities included the planning and management of 82,250 -acres of intensively managed investment timberland in Mississippi. Mr. Whitehead began his forestry career with Champion International Corporation in 1979 initially as a Forest Technician and eventually as Area Manager of Champion’s 40,000 -acre land base in Mississippi during his thirteen years of service.
