Jerry Brodie - Managing Director Operations
Mr. Brodie is the Managing Director of Operations. His responsibilities include ongoing logging operations on all managed timberland as well as disposition strategy.
Mr. Brodie joined The Campbell Group in 1993. Prior to coming to The Campbell Group, Mr. Brodie was Vice President of WTD Industries from 1987-1993, managing forest operations. Between 1983 and 1987, he served as President of Brodie Industrial Services, Inc. and Vice President of Plant and Machinery, Inc., where he was responsible for industrial plant and equipment liquidations. Since 1975, Mr. Brodie has been involved in all phases of the wood products industry.

Duncan Campbell - Chairman Emeritus
Mr. Campbell is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of The Campbell Group. He has been directly responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the company and has created opportunities for investors where none existed.
Mr. Campbell has over thirty years of timberland investment and forest industry experience. He served as the President and Chairman of The Campbell Group and related entities from its inception through 2007. In 1981, Mr. Campbell provided the risk capital and vision to start The Campbell Group. As part of his efforts, marketing contacts were made around the world. The Campbell Group focused its marketing on institutions, pension funds, investment managers and high-net-worth families. Transactions were tailored to meet investor objectives, and The Campbell Group developed a reputation for providing expertise in this unique field to clients ranging from John Hancock to the Peoples Republic of China. He is also an Attorney at Law and Certified Public Accountant.
In addition to his business skills, one hallmark of Mr. Campbell’s is his work to better the lives of disadvantaged children, including the founding of Friends of the Children, which has been recognized as a model for mentoring children at the state and national levels.

Gary Combs - Managing Director Investor Relations
Mr. Combs is Managing Director of Investor Relations for The Campbell Group. He is responsible for client relations and portfolio management. Mr. Combs also chairs the Investment and Allocation Committees for the firm.
Prior to joining The Campbell Group, Mr. Combs spent eight years at the Oregon State Treasury (Treasury) where he was a Senior Investment Officer. The Treasury is responsible for all Oregon State investments, including the $40 billion Oregon Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (OPERF). The approximately $2 billion under Mr. Combs’ responsibility was invested in both public and private real estate investments consisting of direct equity, debt, domestic and international commingled funds (including timber funds), and REITs. Under his direction, Oregon produced a five-year track record as one of the top-performing real estate programs in the nation.Mr. Combs has served on various advisory boards, including Brazos, Lonestar, Opportunity Capital Partners and Westbrook. He has also served on the board of directors for USPPI REIT.
Stan Renecker - Managing Director Acquisitions
Mr. Renecker is Managing Director of Acquisitions for The Campbell Group. He is responsible for all the outreach and acquisition activities. Specifically, he is responsible for negotiating with buyers and sellers, leading due diligence and controlling transactional activities.
Throughout Mr. Renecker’s career, he has built numerous key relationships with buyers and sellers of timberland. These relationships are key in enabling The Campbell Group to be an active participant in the market.
Dave Rumker - Managing Director Research & Resource Planning
Mr. Rumker is Managing Director of Research and Resource Planning for The Campbell Group. In this capacity, he provides overall direction and leadership for research, investment analysis, forest inventory systems, geographic information systems, and long-term planning and analysis associated with timberlands under management. Mr. Rumker also provides leadership with respect to log price forecasts, forest economics and ongoing forest operations research at The Campbell Group.
Prior to joining The Campbell Group, Mr. Rumker worked for seven years as the Operations Analyst responsible for forest valuation and long-term cash flow projections for Champion’s Oregon/California operations, including projections for a number of the timberland properties currently under management by The Campbell Group.
John S. Gilleland - President & Chairman
Mr. Gilleland serves as President and Chairman of The Campbell Group. He is responsible for leadership of the firm, and financial aspects of the business, including pricing and delivery of services for The Campbell Group. He has been involved in each transaction since inception as well as strategy development. He assists in legal contracts and administrative functions of The Campbell Group, in addition to business and product development efforts for the firm.
Mr. Gilleland has performed virtually all executive functions while at The Campbell Group, including lead negotiator on acquisitions, marketing and market planning, proposal development, contract design, fee setting, product design and development, and strategic planning for the firm. Mr. Gilleland was directly responsible for over $100 million in timberland acquisitions, and was co-lead on essentially all other acquisitions made by the firm.
